Summary of Experience

Active for over 20 years as a professional trumpet player, Neil has performed concerts in the United States, England, Switzerland, Italy, Russia and currently in Japan. In the 1980's, Neil was a featured soloist with the United States Navy Band's Official Big Band, the "Commodores.” Neil has played styles ranging from Bach to be-bop, including salsa, funk ,big band, free jazz, bossa nova and fusion. As an educator, he has been teaching since 1981. His experiences have been with students ranging in age from kindergarten through university and adults. The teaching settings have been private, classroom and workshops/clinics. He has performed in nightclubs, hotels, concerts, jazz festivals and toured the U.S.A., Europe, Russia and Japan.
